When considering nominations, think about the Rotary motto "Service Above Self."

The Paul Harris Committee met recently to discuss nominations for potential Paul Harris Fellow recognition, and decided to solicit nominations from the full Club membership.  For newer members, or as a reminder for longer term members; the Paul Harris Fellowship recognition can be achieved in one of two ways:  (1)  A Rotarian contributes at least $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation; or, (2) the Club can recognize an individual for each $1,000 contribution by the Club to the Foundation.  It is for this second option that the Committee is currently seeking nominations.  Please be aware that the Club can recognize Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike, and have done so in the past.  For information I have attached a list of past recipients (also available on the Club's website).

When considering nominations, think about the Rotary motto "Service Above Self."  Is Caribou a better place due to the actions and efforts of the nominee?  It would also be helpful to the Committee if you included a brief explanation of why you think a particular nominee is worthy of the Paul Harris recognition.

Our schedule if fairly tight, so we are asking that nominations be submitted by no later than July 22.  Nominations may be submitted via e-mail to Mark Draper at mark@tricommunityrecycling.com.  Please call Mark at 227-4304 if you have any questions.
