The 2015 Caribou Rotary Club Cash Draw has officially ended.

This years lucky winners were Joan Theriault who won $4,000, Jim Savage who won $5,000 and Machias Savings Bank which took home the grand prize of $6,000.

“The cash draw was a huge success once again,” said Austin Bleess, the Caribou Rotary Club President-Elect and chair of the Cash Draw this year. “We sold out of tickets on Saturday morning and had people that were still looking to buy tickets at the door.”

When asked about the responses from people as they were out in the community selling tickets Bleess replied “The community response to the Caribou Rotary Club is amazing.  It shows that people from our community truly believe in the work that is happening here and the projects the Rotary Club is assisting with.”
While no single project was identified as the beneficiary of the fundraiser this year, Bleess stated the Club has an eye towards the new school project that will be happening in Caribou over the next few years. He stated the Club was looking to save up some money to make a donation to RSU 39 for the construction of the new school.

Bleess thanks everyone for their support of the Caribou Rotary Club this year. A full list of winners is available by clicking here.
